expensive as you might think. Flash cartoons use several shortcuts which keep the costs low.

"Play Ball"
This cartoon was actually my first flash cartoon animation. At the
time I produced this I still hadn't mastered the Flash program so I missed a lot of shortcuts
which would have made it a more effective Flash cartoon. I present it here more as an example
of my storytelling and writing ability. This cartoon animation runs for four minutes and took
me three months to produce. I did everything on this cartoon by myself, from writing the
script to acting as a voiceover to drawing the cartoon. I didn't create the character, Belvedere.
This cartoon was created by the late George Crenshaw, who was a friend of mine.

"Slippers"
This is a later Flash cartoon I created for the cartoon character,
Belvedere. It was done as a sample commercial for a company selling slippers. This
cartoon animation demonstrates a smoother quality of animation, and the use of a professional
voiceover. This cartoon more accurately reflects my current abilities as a cartoon animator.
